We
have provided you with some information that will be helpful
as you move in to your new apartment!
1.
RENT: Rent is due on the first of each month!
It is late by the 5th of each month. Please make sure
that your rent payments are received by our office on
time! Please send your rent checks to:

On your rent checks, please note your address and whether
the check is coming from your parents or from the tenant.
This is very important in order to ensure that you receive
prompt credit for your payment.
2.
MAINTENANCE: If you have any maintenance problems,
please please email us, fax us or drop us a note so we
can schedule a worker to correct the problem. (Click
here for a link to our maintenance form) Our property
manager, Susan Zappone will promptly attend to it. NOTE!
Window covering and light bulb replacement is the tenants
responsibility and not a maintenance issue. You also must
have a plunger handy, as you will be charged for the visit
if you make a service call for a clogged toilet and have
no plunger. (See

m of the Addendum to the lease.) If you have an emergency
after business hours, click on the link where you will
be directed to an emergency number you can call that will
direct you to an emergency voice mail system to report
the problem.
3.
UTILITIES: Heat and
hot water are included in your rent. When you move in,
you will need to call for any other utility services that
you require, typically gas for the stove, electricity,
phone, cable and internet access. We have provided the
numbers for the companies that provide Boston with these
services:
In
accordance with the Condominium rules and regulations
(published elsewhere on this site), satellite dishes are
not allowed.
4.
LAUNDRY: Your laundry facility is located in
the basement. The washers and the dryers are $1.25 to
$1.50 per cycle. If you experience any difficulty with
the laundry machines, please note the number of the machine,
how much money was lost, if any, and report the problem
to the company listed in the laundry room immediately.
5.
PARKING: There may
be a parking lot behind your building. This lot contains
spaces that are rented out and are separate from the apartments.
Do
not park in the lot if you have not rented a space. You
will be towed at you own expense. Main Street Realty may
rent spaces in that lot. If you are in need of a parking
space, call 508-359-6622 for prices and availability.
6.
PETS: There are no pets allowed in the building.
7.
TRASH: Trash must
be taken to the designated area in your building. Do not
leave trash in the front or rear hallways as that is a
violation of condominium regulations. Violations of the
rules and regulations are subject to fines.
8.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
We have also included a copy
of the condominium rules and regulations on this Web
site for the buildings we manage, including the fine schedule.
Please review them carefully, as you will be responsible
for following them.
